Activities

Snorkeling, spear fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, wind surfing and boat trips are the favorite water activities in Cabo Roig. Its alluring sunshine makes sun bathing the most popular activity on the beach. The young or old may enjoy a ride in Punta Prima’s go-karts which come in full size, mini or quads. The circus certainly comes to town during the summer, to the delight of all, especially the children. There is Torrevieja close enough for a day trip to check out its town and lovely beaches. The Aqua Splash Park is available in the summer to enjoy a splash on its extra large slides. It is definitely worth getting wet!

Benidorm is within reach and just one and a half hour away for an excursion to enjoy its bustling atmosphere. It is an exciting place for the young-at-heart to take on some sporting activities which are available there, such as golfing, water sports or even fishing. La Manga is another good choice to fulfill one’s indulgence in water sports as this is an impressive water sport resort which is barely 40 minutes away.Golf fans can enjoy a game or two at Villa Martin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, which are the three preferred golf courses here as they are barely a10-minute drive away.

Cabo Roig may seem unknown to many but it boasts of a couple of residents who are celebrities, such as Terry Wogan and the famous singer Cilla Black. You can also indulge in some ancient history and architecture at Cartagena, Orihuela, Elche and Murcia which are located just one hour’s drive away.
GastronomyYou will never go hungry for a meal or snack with the many bars and restaurants found on the Cabo Roig strip which is also known as the Aguamarina strip.
